“What the hell are you doing, Zoe?” Asher couldn’t keep the shock from his voice. She was there. Naked. In his tub.
“Get out!” Zoe’s shrill voice shook with rage. “Get the hell out of my house right now, Asher!”
Her words lit a fuse inside him, forcing him to defend his actions. “Your house? Excuse me. My house.” Like she had a right to get indignant and make demands. Forgoing his manners as she’d done, he stepped back into the room to find she’d sunk to her chin in bubbles.
She shook her head vehemently. “This is my house. I purchased it from Bob Jenkins last week. Now get the hell out!” Fiery sparks blasted from her eyes.
He moved farther into the room until he towered over her. He jabbed his thumb against his chest. “I bought it from Jenkins. I have a bill of sale to prove it.”

This series is so simple but in a good way. I always enjoy every new book that comes out. A nice easy read without all the crazy happenings some books have. It's a nice change of pace. There are always so many feelings involved in these stories too. I always get knots in my stomach when things go wrong or someone's feelings are hurt. I also get butterflies when everything works out and sparks ignite. Asher and Zoe were a great couple who deserved to find their happiness once and for all.Product details

I have read all the Aspen series. Normally I like a lot more Sizzle, passion and more details with the passion scenes. I got invested in the series about book 3 I was vested in the characters and now I have to find out about all the previous characters. I guess I will over look the quick love scenes and the fact that there are only a few love scenes in each book. But, because of this, I have not purchased any other series. I will stick with this series until it ends.
This installment stars Asher Campbell and Zoe Cassidy. Asher is friends with a lot of the male characters from this series and business partner with Seth Moore (book 4). They have a construction company.
Asher and Zoe went to school together and Zoe knows that Asher does not like her and believes that he has it out for her. Asher has always like Zoe, but he always get his big foot in his mouth and everything comes out wrong.
After Asher’s, now x-wife, kicked him out and moved her boyfriend into their home, he has been living with Milo Sykes, his wife Ariana and their crying baby (book 2) for a few months now. Now that he is divorced, he must find his own place. He buys “old man” Jenkins home and can’t wait to move in.
Zoe has rented the basement from someone in town for years. She had to save her money and this was the best way to do that. Since she is an accountant, she now can buy her own place. She buys “old man” Jenkins home and can’t wait to move in.
Now, we have a problem. They must live under the same roof until the sheriff can find “old man” Jenkins and get to the bottom of this.
During their time together, she continues to wage war with his “wrong” comments, until one day they have a talk. She finds out that he does not hate her and so now they can be friends. Well, maybe friends with benefits. But, Zoe can’t do this and in the end, they part ways.
Can they find their way back to each other?

I'm With You is the ninth contemporary western book in the Aspen Series written by author Cindy Stark. Great stories. I hope this isn't the end of them.
I loved this story! Set in a western town, this book is about two former high school rivals who have grown up but now accidentally own the same home. Zoe is forced to temporarily live in the home with her rival Asher, and being in such close quarters has her noticing how he's filled out nicely since their school days. It's fun to watch these two spar as while a simmering attraction starts to smolder between them. This is a fun, fast paced read that is well written.
What a way to end one ofthe best series that I have read. I am a small town girl, after I got married, and love to read series that have cowboys, hard-workng men who live in small towms. Cindy Stark writes so well that she has a way of putting you right in the middle of her scenes. I loved the characters. I highly recommend reading this series I know that she has become one of my new favorite authors. The one thing that I admire about her work is that it is so well edited, and that may sound crazy, but so many times in my reading, I come across great stories that are ruined by grammer errors. Thank you Cindy, for being a great author.
